Danish Maritime High School

One can choose to pursue an HF (Higher Preparatory Examination) education combined with maritime subjects such as sailing, navigation, ship technology, and machinery. The education takes 3 years compared to the traditional 2 years, as it includes additional practical subjects. This education provides you with the opportunity to get a taste of a maritime career at sea and see if you're interested in pursuing that path further, such as studying to become a marine engineer or ship's officer.
