The book is in Danish. This book is intended for use in teaching meteorology in navigation courses. The book is divided into two main subjects, namely a meteorological part and an oceanographic part, in addition to which there are separate chapters on the Faroe Islands, weather route planning and interpretation of satellite images. In the meteorological part, basic meteorology is reviewed, as well as the various weather systems and their movements. The weather systems that arise and move in oceans and coastal waters are mainly reviewed. The oceanographic part contains the subjects of ocean currents, tides, ice formations and waves New edition updated with chapter on Greenland.
