ILO Accident Prevention Ships

Is an ILO Code of Practice adopted in 1996 is the current ILO regulation in this field. The Code gives specific regulations for a variety of shipboard work from painting to machinery repairs, and gives information on general duties of flag states, owners, masters and crew members, reporting of accidents, safety and health considerations on board, emergency equipment, dangerous goods, safe access to ship, working in engine rooms and in enclosed and confined spaces, lifting and carrying, tools and materials, docking and mooring, galley and pantry works etc. XIV 185 x 135 x 10 mm.
