Hamnguiden 9, Göta Kanal

This Harbour Guide (in Swedish) describes 255 natural and guest harbours along the Göta River, Lake Vänern, the Dalsland Canal, the Vikingaleden, the Göta Canal, and Lake Vättern. It features both well-known and lesser-known natural anchorages, offers tips on routes, and presents guest harbours in detail with information on services and berthing options. Every harbour is presented with a detailed Harbour Guide chart, an aerial photograph, descriptive text, and a fact box. When the second edition of Harbour Guide 8 was released in 2016, the new Harbour Guide charts were something entirely new—never before seen in nautical charting. They became an immediate success. Since then, Harbour Guide 7 has been published, and now a new edition of Harbour Guide 9 is being released with updated Harbour Guide charts. All charts in the book are produced by Hydrographica and based on Hydrographica’s proven hydrographic surveying techniques, using 3D aerial photography as a foundation. Each Harbour Guide chart has also been checked and verified through supplementary on-site depth measurements.
