Bernard's Nautical Star Chart is the most used for navigational purposes. Besides the northern and southern heavens the back is printed with tables for altitude corrections, a pronouncing dictionary of star names, meaning of star names, main places of the stars, notes on star positions, notes on the Solar system, Greek letters and the constellations, symbols and abbreviations and hints for star observers.
