This volume - the fifth - deals with the moving of very heavy units from the planning, strength required, tow master's duties, towing gear, warranty surveyors, semi submersible operations, contingency planning for break down, towline breakage, bunkering at sea, man over board. Also sea fastening, jack up barges, drilling unit lashing and general principles of restraint and their arrangements and fender posts are dealt with.
